I love talk radio. I will listen to just about anything. Car Talk? Totally! Radical liberal political ranting. Yes! Crazy conservative political crunchiness. Will do! Only mildly interesting informational programs on dwarf star formation. I’m all ears.
Tonight, I was held captive by a creepy man explaining with all certainty that the world is going to end on May 21, 2011. Apparently the book of Daniel was “locked” by God until 1998 when the tribulation began and now “new” knowledge is available which cancels out the message of Jesus in a couple of gospels at least (Matthew and Mark) which tell us we can’t know when the end of the world is coming… Mmm…pretty sure I’m not buying it. But…
It was strange timing, because I was driving to campus about to try and get girls to study the Bible with me. Why do I want them to study the Bible with me? Why do I care what they think about it, or God, or Jesus or the Holy Spirit?
Because the end of their world might be before May 21, 2o11.
Dear Mr. Creepy Man in the Radio,
I appreciate your fervor for the souls of people, although perhaps you should stop all the “Spiritual Number Crunching” for now. Thank you for helping me focus today as I drove to campus. I really do want girls to read the Bible with me so they can know the saving and freeing message of Jesus Christ. I’m not sure I was really thinking that when I was driving to campus, unfortunately.
I was more worried about if they would reject me, if I looked a little old to be on campus, if my parking sticker was in the car, and if I should stop and get some gum so my breath wouldn’t be stinky. Talk about totally unfocused!
Whether or not the world ends on that day, the world ends for us all at some point, and we will see God. I can’t wait. In fact, I got kind of excited about only having to wait until May 21, 2011, although I don’t really expect anything to happen on that day. Sorry. But, I hope and pray that many, many, many souls will surrender to Christ before then anyway. We are in that mission at least, together.

Jessdager,
The radio station you were listening to was familyradio.com The man was Harold Camping.I have listened to him for about 20 years.When I first heard about may 21 2011 the first scripture that came to me was “No man Knoweth”Well,as a studied this out in the bible I find we can and will know with out a doubt when the Lord will return.The true believers will know but those that think they are saved will scoff at this messsage as it is written;
4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
We know the Lord will come as a thief in the knight but he will not come for the believers as a thief as we read
2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Verse 4 says BUT YE BROTHREN ARE NOT IN DARKNESS and that day will not take you as a thief.
I am sorry I am running out of time,I will post more latter explaining with out a doubt that May 21 2011 is the date of the Lords return from the bible ONLY.

Jessdager,
One pathway to May 21 2011 is the study of Noah and the flood.Remember when God said it would be as in the day of Noah?Matt.24 37But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark.
Noah was a picture of Gods judgement.noah knew the exact day judgement would come.God told Noah yet 7(seven) days and the flood waters will come.Noah had a 7 day warning!God also records the exact day and the exact month this would happen. It was the second month of the 17th day.We must also remember that God spoke in parables.2Peter3 says:
5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
God tells the believers(beloved be not to ignorant of this one thing.1 day as a 1000 years and a 1000 years as a day. This is the big clue. The flood was in the year 4990BC.The arival of this date was found in the bible only. This is where we must find truth.Familyradio.com offers a little booklet free that explains this.
Now if we add 7000 years from the day that Noah entered the ark it will come to 2012 but we must subtract 1 year because there was no year 0.It started at 1 ad.May21 just happens to be the 2nd month and the 17th day of the jewish calender!!That was the day and month Noah entered the ark.
This is only one pathway to May 21 2011 there are many more.
When God was going to desroy Niniva.god told Jonah to warn the people yet 40 days and He would destry Ninivah. Those people new the exact day judgement was coming.God is mercifull He is giving us a warning. We can still cry out to God to have mercy on us.Just like the people of Niniva from the king on down they cried out for mercy.
This is not a pleasent message but it must get out.

Thank you for that web site. The teaching of:Isn’t the day coming as a thief in the night? Was very good.

The Lord will restore the Eternal House of Isreal on May 21, 2011. All of the scattered sheep will be bought together under one shepard, the Lord, Jesus Christ. There is NO possibility of this not happening. It will absoluetly occur without question.
Only those chosen by the Lord will know Truth. Everyone else has been blinded. The Salvation message is only for those whom the Lord has chosen from before creation. Those not chosen, can “hear” the words, but they will not register in their minds. You need “spiritual ears” to hear this message, and only the Lord can give those to you.
Yes, dark clouds are fast approaching, when no man can work. Pray to the Lord for mercy. We are down to 600 days now until the second coming of the Lord, Jesus Christ.
Bill
Bill,
I understand that May21 2011 will be the end of salvation and the beginning of the five months of judgement because of what the bible teaches.I do see it.I understand that this was sealed up untill the end according to Daniel but I do not believe I am saved. Can one see this and also be not saved?
Dave
David, Why do you believe you are not saved? What is your understanding of how one comes to be saved?
Jessdager
I believed for years I was saved because I had accepted Jesus Christ. As the years went by my life was not as a christian.I was conforted by the fact people would say, oh your just backsliding.
Then I started to get serious about what the bible taught. Then slowly I started to see that I was never saved.I started seeing scriptures that said ,No man can come to the father unless He draws.I started to see that man is spiritually dead as is taugth in Eph.Man is like a corps and God must make us alive.A good picture of salvation was Lazerus,as Lazerus was physically dead we are spiritually dead.God had to call and raise Lazerus from the dead.Lazerus could not do a thing to become alive. And we can not do anything to get our selfs saved.
God also says in Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
14What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
15For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
16So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
He is the potter we are the clay.
So when I so called “accepted Jesus’ That was a work on my part.In other words God did all He could now it is up to me to accept Him.It puts man in the driver seat. That would be a works gospel.
This is the most popular gospel ,it is in all the churches. Now I know one can cry out to God for mercy but it is only up to God if He will have mercy on us,as He says I will have mercy on whom I will. This gospel is also hated in the churches. But our standard must be the bible and the bible only.
After hearing the true gospel I had to examin myself. And what I found was that I was not saved. The bible does say to examine ourselfs to see if we are in the faith. That is why I woder if I am truly saved. Also there are many people that believe they are saved and are not.One scripture that gets my attention is when God says In that day many will say to
me Lord Lord did I not do this in your name or did I not do etc. etc.And God said depart from me I NEVER knew ye.That I think is refering to the many people that think they are saved because they “accepted Jesus”and believe all is well.
When I started sharing this with the church I was told to leave.I was not questioning their salvation I never would do that.I questioned my own salvation. But I think it made them feel uneasy.I am sorry that this became a little long.

Thank you for your encouragement.Reading the bible is a good start.faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.You said:”and belief in that work is what allows God to forgive us and bring us into His kingdom.” But we can’t even believe this on our own.It is the work of God that we would even believe.
Jn.6:29Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
I know begging God to save one is like a work,But if we look at the Ninivites they beged God to have mercy on them and they knew it was up to Him if He would have mercy on them.So I think God allows us to beg.
Thank you again for the encouragement.
Dave
I sounds to me as if God has truly drawn you over the years – evidenced by your interest in Him and His word. It also sounds like you are especially attracted to verses that speak to your need to examine yourself and question your standing before God. As you pointed out, we all “like” certain verses because of our backgrounds, the people we listen to on the radio, pastors we admire, family we respect, etc. Keep reading the whole Bible, cover to cover, and I think you will find solace in God’s character and plan for salvation. You are right – we can not do the work of saving ourselves, but the scriptures clearly teach that Jesus did do that work, and belief in that work is what allows God to forgive us and bring us into His kingdom. Aren’t you in effect, “working” for your salvation, by begging God? Receive what He offers joyfully, abide in His word, love your neighbor, and enjoy the peace that transcends your understanding.
I suspect there are many other things at work here, but I don’t know you – so this is all I can say on the matter. I’ll pray for your soul to know His love in such a profound way, your worries and anxieties transform into the confidence before His throne that brings peace and the fruit of more souls brought into His kingdom through your life.
